Multistage amplifiers  Method for solving multistage amplifiers. Analysis of a C-E/C-D stage. Analysis of Cascode configuration.

Frequency Response  Low and high-frequency response of amplifiers. Method for estimating cross-over frequencies (Circuit time constants). High-frequency BJT model. Miller effect.

Feedback  general feedback structure. Properties of negative feedback. Four basic configurations. Approximated method for the analysis of amplifiers with feedback

waveform-shaping circuits  Multivibrators. Comparators. Comparator with hysteresis. Triangular and square waveform generators

Exercises  Exercises (2 hours for each of the abovementioned topics). Example of design of simple circuits. Validation of performance with simulation tools.
